MÉXICO.- Luego de tres días de intensas audiencias, las empresas dueñas de diversas marcas demostraron que 19 presentaciones de quesos y un yogurt sí cumplen con la Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM), lo que dejó a cinco productos lácteos sin posibilidad de regresar a anaqueles.
Desde el jueves 15 de octubre iniciaron las audiencias entre el titular de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (Profeco), Ricardo Sheffield, con representantes de 19 marcas, 18 de quesos y uno de yogurt, que fueron señalados por incumplir con la normatividad por lo que se suspendió la venta de dichos productos del mercado.
Los representantes debieron demostrar que sus productos si se apegan a lo dicho por la Norma Oficial de Queso NOM-223-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018, así como a la NOM-002-SCFI-2011 contenido neto-tolerancias y métodos de verificación y a la NOM-051-SCFI/SSA1-2010, Especificaciones generales de etiquetado para alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas preenvasados e Información comercial y sanitaria.
Tras estas reuniones los productos que sí podrán volver a anaqueles tras demostrarse que se apegan a la normatividad son: Fud, Nochebuena, Zwan, Caperucita, Burr, Frankly, Selecto Brand, Galbani, Lala, El Parral, Portales, Walter, Cremería Covadonga, Aurrera y Philadelphia. Así como Danone natural, yogurt para beber natural.
Mientras las que no lograron pasar la prueba y deberán de realizar ajustes que los lleven a cumplir la Norma Oficial Mexicana son: yogurt Benegastro, Fud Cuida-T+ queso tipo manchego rebanado, Sargento queso parmesano, imitación queso manchego Premier Plus Cuadritos y Precissimo tipo Americano.
