Moscú, 23 Mar (Notimex).– Autoridades sanitarias de Rusia anunciaron hoy que la vacuna contra el COVID-19 superó la primera fase de pruebas y ésta podría estar lista dentro de 11 meses.
De acuerdo con la directora de la Agencia Federal Médico Biológica (FMBA), Veronika Skvortsova, adelantó que espera más apoyo gubernamental para acelerar el proceso de la creación del retroviral contra el coronavirus.
Además, informó que dos centros de la FMBA están trabajando en medicamentos para tratar la sintomatología del coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
“Se trata del centro científico de inmunología, en Moscú, y el centro científico de medicamentos de Alta Pureza, en San Petersburgo”, dijo Skvortsova.
Indicó que los empleados de la FMBA trabajan duro para que el país reciba las pruebas y medicamentos contra el coronavirus en el menor tiempo posible.
Por otra parte, el primer ministro ruso, Mijaíl Mishustin, ya había anunciado anteriormente que la Agencia Federal Médico Biológica estaba enfrascada en el desarrollo de varios prototipos de fármacos contra el coronavirus.
